    Closed 1 on 1 match.

    Rules:
    No god moding.
Winner is declared under the following circumstances:
    Forfeit by the loser.
    Incapacitation of the loser.
The loser did not post a post within 3 days without giving a reason beforehand.

If we reach an argument that is unsolvable by logic and understanding, a roll of dice will decide the outcome.

Environment: Market area of a village. Small stands with wooden roofs and awnings, a small river that flows on the backside of the market, clay ground through the market streets.

Aka looked around at the empty streets of the market. It was midday and everyone had made their ways home to eat their dinner, and this left a nice battle ground for her and her opponent(s). The girls appeared to be older than Aka, but she didn't let that worry her. She'd beaten others that were nearly twice her age, even if they were practice battles, they were still battles.

    "I'm ready when you are."
Aka said, bringing her hands up in front of herself in a defensive position, her hands close together, palms open ready to intercept any attack that may be launched. She set her feet sturdily into the ground, twisting them back and forth a bit, stirring up a little dust under her sandals.

She watched her opponents moves, watching every little move the girls made. She figured just from what she'd seen so far, that the two would be rather attack oriented. She didn't find it quite fair to be facing two people, let alone twins, but, she thought that just maybe, there was some trickery going on.

Nasuki and her clone looked over at their opponent. "Hey, Renni, you ready?" She asked her clone. "I guess so...." her twin answered. Due to the jutsu, the twin clone had a less confident, shy personality. It was simply a side effect. Nasuki raised her fist in the air. "Alright, let's go!" Nasuki yelled. She and her twin then performed a single hand sign in unison. "Shadow Clone Jutsu" Their image blurred, clones splitting off from their bodies. Each of them formed about 6 clones, making 12 clones total, and 14 versions of Nasuki standing before Aka. "Alright, everyone, time for some practice!" Half of the people shouted, the half that seemed to be closer to Nasuki. "Ok...." The other half said, quietly.

Aka sighed as the twins made clones, and she could tell that something was odd between the twins. She just didn't feel right. "So, you want to go on an all out offensive? Bring it!" She shouted, blood now pouring from her feet, spilling over the ground and surrounding her in a perfect circle 15 feet around her.

She readied herself and began building up for her next move, watching all the clones, wanting to level the playing field once again. She hated multiple enemies, and especially this many. She thought a battle sould be one on one, but if this is what her opponent wanted, it's what they'd get.

Nasuki's mob of clones fanned out slightly, spreading in aproximately 135 degree arc, spreading from one building to the other. After several seconds of careful setup, the group looked down. Two of the images raised their hands to their mouths in shock. One of them stepped forward, looking up at Aka. "I'm not really a combat expert, but I believe that we're supposed to, like, beat the crap out of you, then you bleed all over the ground...." She said, stepping back slightly. "Think you should invest in a doctor...."
Nasuki's mob suddenly leapt forward, some clones leading, others waiting a moment before charging. The first clone to close threw a lunging punch, the second following up with a roundhouse kick, the third performing a flying kick.. Several more clones continued the rush attack, however, several of the clones leapt up onto the roofs nearby, watching.

Akahana didn't respond to the girls comments. She simply kept her defensive position. As the first clone stepped in her blood, it was almost surely about to meets its fate. She allowed the punch to come close, but she quickly intercepted it with her palm and sent it past her body to the right. Dropping to her knees, while bringing up her left hand and swinging her right -blood kunai now in both- she threw the kunai in her left hand at the clone in the air about to hit her with the flying kick. Taking her right hand, she brought it back out towards her side and sent the blade of the blood kunai into the lower back of the first clone dragging the blade down as she fell to her knees; causing it to break it's form.

With this move, she would have defeated the punching clone, defeated and or dodged the flying kick clone, and only dodged the roundhouse kicking clone, as her body was now much lower than it had been, most likely causing the kick to miss her upper body by a fair amount. If not, she'd be forced to take the hit and then counter.

The first clone, being thrown out of position, wasn't capable of avoiding the counterattack, taking the blow in the back without any counter. The second roundhouse kick flew over Akahana, the clone sliding to a stop on the blood on the other end of the blood pool. The final clone had very little time to react. It bent it's body backwards, the kunai scraping acros it's side, though not quite clean enough to destroy it. It continued like the second clone, missing its target and flying past Akahana, sliding in the blood. The other clones paused their attacks momentarily, stopping slightly past the edge of the blood, watching the kunai fly past them, not failing to notice what it was made of.

"What the heck was that?!" Several of the clones gasped. Nasuki, watching the ordeal, began to think on the matter. With a trick like that, wonder what else she can do.... I don't know, but she seems to be pretty good in close, too. We might have our work cut out for us.The clone added. However, not to let the offensive rest for long, the clones each pulled out a kunai. One of the clones behind Akahana and one of them in front of her both rushed at her straight across the blood. The one in front of her came around, slashing at the opponent. The one behind came in, stabbing at her back at almost exactly the same time.

Akahana didn't have to turn around to see what was happening behind her, she could tell exactly where they were because they stood in the blood. Before any of the clones could get close enough for the attack to land, she laid backwards to assure that she dodged the attacks coming from the clones.

Since she was already on her knees in the first place, laying back was fast and easy. She formed two blood kunai once more as she moved, readying a second and third strike. As the clone in front slashed over where she had been, she kicked at it's left knee using her right leg, while slashing over her head at the clone (the one behind her)'s ankles, bringing both kunai up over her head in a scissor like motion. She could tell where all of them were without even looking, although, luckily for her, she could still see them, which kept things from looking to suspicious.

The clone in front of Akahana was prepared for her target to avoid her attack, as was "the plan". She vaulted over the girl now laying on her back and the clone, landing about midway between the edge of the blood and Aka. The other clone, however, wasn't expecting the attack. It's ankle was slashed off, breaking it's form. The first clone backflipped, launching itself high in the air, pulling a shuriken out of it's weapon pouch. As it did so, the other images of Nasuki pulled their throwing weapons out. Each threw a single shuriken in the direction of Akahana, some of the weapons aimed slightly off to compensate for her attempting to roll out of the way.

Though it would probably have made just as much sense to have continued the physical assault, Nasuki didn't like the idea of sending more clones in. For some reason, the girl was still functioning normally, despite all that blood loss. In fact, she was doing very well. New objective: get her away from that blood. Something weird's going on here.... She thought, relaying her concerns to her twin. Alright. I'll try.... The clone replied.

Akahana wasn't surprised when the first clone dodged, after all, it was clearly able to see what Aka was doing. But, when they all pulled out projectile weapons, Akahana was already getting to her feet. As they threw them, Aka cut the connection of her senses to the blood pool, and prepared to take the hits. They all hit, and stuck. "Gah!" she shouted as the four shuriken stuck in her chest and stomach. She fell to her knees and placed her hands on her abdomen, making gasping sounds as blood began to leak out from under the shuriken. "You... are such a bitch... Hiding behind-" She coughed up some blood before she could finish her words. "Hiding behind those clones..." And then she fell down onto her face, more blood seeping out from under her, mixing with the already large pool that was there.

Akahana lay there, her body surrounded by blood, her breaths became shallow, and then they stopped. she was motionless, calm, seemingly dead. For a normal person to lose that much blood to start, and to use it as such, losing just that amount from the shuriken could potentially prove fatal. These had to be things the enemies considered, it only made sense that no normal ninja could lose that much blood and survive. It seemed they had won.

Nasuki was suprised that that many shuriken hit. Was she even trying to avoid them...? she asked her twin. It doesn't look like it.... But whatever works, I guess....Nasuki then heard what Aka said, and smiled at that idea. "From what I've been taught by my sensei, it's better to gather information before making big moves. Besides, I'm training to be an intelligence nin, not a combat expert. It's an 'exercise' my sensei's been trying to get me to do...." She said, rather unhappy with the method, though happy it hadn't been her down there in the thick of it.

Nasuki sent one clone over to Aka's body, examining her body. "Wonder why she leaked out that much blood. She didn't seem to need that much to use that power." She said, aloud. "I can't tell, either. However, it's probably best that she went down like that...." As she said this, most of the clones popped. It appeared the battle was apparently over, so all but the one right in front of Akahana disappeared. Nasuki and her twin on the roofs to either side of Aka.

Unknown to the clone, or the twins, Akahana had used her blood to create a thin layer of armor under her clothing as the shuriken hit, causing them to stick in the thin layer of blood, and not Aka, the blood seeping out from under her was simply the blood armor being released to add effect to the attack.

Slowly, and clearly not an attack, the blood on the ground started to slide up Akahana's body, making it seem as if the blood was consuming her. It covered her body, and it looked as if the blood had just engulfed her in order to dispose of her body, keeping enemy shinobi from collecting jutsu or info from her corpse.

Suddenly though, hundreds of spikes formed and shot out of the blood coating her body. The spikes weren't obvious until they had already been launched from her body. They formed as they left, making it appear that the spikes came out fully formed from under the blood. A group of ten or so was set to hit the clone near her, and many more fired in a 360 dome from her body. 10 or so were on track for each of the two remaining girls. But, with the many fired, even dodging would result in jumping into more spikes.

Nasuki and her twin scrambled for cover, but didn't find much relief. They laid flat against the roof, spikes mostly shooting overhead. However, a low spike hit each of the girl's in the side. The clone was hopelessly caught in the fury of needles. "Ah, damnit, I thought she was down!" Nasuki yelled. "Oh, great, and the clones are all gone...."

"I'm dissapointed, Nasuki." A voice said. A moment later, a tall black form was standing over Nasuki, white hair blowing from the speed of his movement, his arms crossed. "There were more clues than I can count that Akahana wasn't done." he continued. "S-sensei?!" Nasuki said, astonished to see Masume there. "What are you...?" "The first and most obvious hint was the ammount of blood she spewed out with no external injury. That ammount of blood loss would have killed her. She shouldn't have been able to stand, let alone fight. In addition, the kunai were made of blood with no hand signs. Such techniques are generally Kekkei Genkai abilities. Furthermore-" "Alright, I get it, Sensei. Don't have to give a speech every time I make a mistake...." Masume stepped back slightly. "Unfortunately, you don't seem to listen to anything else. Anyway, I'm just here to watch. Of course, I'll step in, if required."

Nasuki and the twin hopped to their feet. each one focused on Akahana. "Well, when one doesn't work...." Both twins drew out a handful of shuriken. "Hit em with everything!" Each threw the handful of shuriken at Akahana, quickly following up with hand signs. "Shadow Shuriken Clone Jutsu!" As they finished the jutsu, thousands of shuriken appeared in the air around the originals, all aimed in the general downward direction towards Akahana.

Akahana didn't bother moving, her perfect defense had been set up while the blood covered her. For it was her blood body shield. Steel hard blood enriched with chakra, ready to block nearly all projectile attacks, and most of normal physical attacks, hell, it could pretty much block anything short of a missile. She stood up, still covered in blood, and took the assualt full on, being hit by countless shuriken. Some stuck in the hard blood, some hit each other and bounced off. Once the onslaught had finished, Akahana was mad that some newcomer had stepped onto the battle field. It was bad enough that the little 'bitch' had clones, now she had some old man out there as well? No, no,no, that wasn't about to happen.

Before Akahana did anything else, she caused the spikes in the twins sides to partly melt, then harden again, a little thicker so it caused pain and opened the wound to bleed more, then the second time they melted to normal blood to allow the blood to leave their wounds.

Akahana then changed her armor to it's denser cocoon state, and launched spikes once more, this time sending an even larger amount of spikes, all focused on the groups, like branches, or swarms of bees, they fired out in a large wide beam at the enemies, hundreds in each branch, on top of that though, the force sent even more projectiles, the ones that the twins had so kindly given to Akahana. So all in all, hundreds if not thousands of needles and shuriken combined flew at the enemy. All the while Akahana remained in her defensive cocoon.

Nasuki and her clone felt the pain waving through them as the spikes in their sides grew and then dissapeared. "What the...?" But that was only a momentary diversion. It was a good enough distraction to draw their attention from the large attack. Blood and shuriken filled the air, shooting out in all directions, especially towards Nasuki and her clone. The two of them didn't have any way of avoiding or blocking the attack.

Masume, on the other hand, had several ways of dealing with the situation. Brushing the hair from his right eye, he revealed his special eye, the Markman's Eye. Within a moment, he knew where every last projectile would hit and when. He then pulled out a single shuriken, tossing it directly at one of the blood senbom. He finished several hand signs in a flash. "Shadow Shuriken Clone Jutsu!" Masume performed the jutsu, a shuriken appeared for almost every projectile coming in the general direction of him and Nasuki. The shuriken collided with all the weapons, causing them all to fall harmlessly to the ground. One blood needle passed through the onslaught, flying straight at Nasuki. Masume, without even showing a hint of worry, reached out with his right hand, plucking the needle from the air with his fingers, his leaf ninja symbol aimed straight at Akahana. The needle was several inches from Nasuki's head. Nasuki gulped. The twin on the other building didn't stand a chance. With all the needles flying, it was finished halfway through the barrage.

"That's all I need to see. Akahana, there is no more reason to worry. We are both from the Leaf Village." "WHAT?! Sensei, why didn't you bring this up earlier?!" Nasuki yelled. "She almost killed me!" "And that is why I was here. I didn't want my new pupils killing each other."

Akahana was preparing another attack to finish off- or at least try to- the old man. But, upon hearing him say he was from her village, she slowly lowered her defense. "You better be. I don't want to have to try and kill an older guy like you..." She said as the blood slowly turned liquid and soaked back into her body, leaving her holding a blood kunai in her right hand; her fingers clenched tight around its handle.

Akahana looked around, then looked back to the girl and the older fellow. She knew that the man had to know something about her, as he called her by name. What Akahana couldn't understand was why he'd called her his pupil. She looked back to them and brushed her bangs from her forehead, brushing them back to rest behind her ear to expose her ninja headband; as if to call for their own as proof.

"I don't trust anyone claiming to be from my village unless they can prove it. And even if you are, I already have a sensei and she's teaching me just fine. So I think you're looking for the wrong girl." She said in a serious tone, not believing what he had said.

Masume chuckled a bit at Akahana's comment. "No, I don't think you would. The odds of you defeating me in a one-on-one combat is approximately 15,236.3 to 1. My abilities are particularly good at disabling others who rely on Ninjutsu and ranged attacks. I would greatly dislike proving such a point through a meaningless battle...."

Masume wasn't suprised that Akahana was skeptical of his statement. "Forgive me, for I did not introduce myself, I am Kokun Masume, head of intellegence for the Leaf Village. I know your name and abilities because it is my job to know such thing, a job only made more important by this-" Masume flipped open a pouch on the belt strapped across his chest, pulling out a scroll. "Transfer orders." He stated, tossing the scroll towards Akahana.

"You can't be serious, sensei. I thought I was your only student right now!" Nasuki said, angrily. "You still have a long way to go, potentially longer, considering the performance you just gave. In addition, it is always good to have others to learn with. Besides, you might learn more about the so called teamwork you claim to know so much about." Masume rebutted.

Akahana caught the scroll, smirking a bit, but trying to hide it behind the scroll she was opening. She read what it said and got a little excited. Wow, finally, some real training, looks like this guy is the real deal, all of these qualifications, he's quite the shinobi, kinda cute to... she finished her thoughts by chuckling, accidentally a bit louder than she had planned.

"I-I... I mean, ok, yeah. I think this could do me some good. you stopped a big attack of mine like it was nothing, you must be really strong Sensei Kokun-sama." Aka said adding a giddy emphasis on "really". She then caused her blood kunai to disappear back into her hand, and she took off running towards them, jumped to the roof, and extended her hand out to Masume, handing him the scroll he'd passed to her. "Thank you Sensei Kokun-sama." She said, bowing to him still holding out the scroll, a bright smile plastered to her face while she was in the bow.

Akahana wasn't fully aware of it, but she was just struck by the largest crush she'd ever had, and it was on an unattainable person. But, to her young mind, "unattainable" wasn't a word anymore, just some made up thing that meant nothing to her. She wasn't about to let stupid thoughts to ruin it for her. After all, he had to have been impressed by how strong she was, she did beat his pupil.

Masume brushed his hair back over his right eye, concealing the unusual eye behind the hair, as he kept it most of the time. "Strength is a term that I prefer to avoid, as you will soon learn. The term makes it sound as though power is nothing more than muscle and chakra." Masume's hand stretched out and touched Akahana on the forehead, the other reaching out to take the scroll back. "Your mind will win you more battles than any amount of chakra, and all the might in the world is not equal to a ninja armed with the right knowledge. That is my philosophy, and it is one I hope you will adopt as we go."

Masume tucked the scroll back into its pouch, turning around and walking several paces towards the edge of the roof. "Well, Nasuki, I hope that you will pay more attention in the future. I believe that we have some work to do on your tactics, and I'm going to make sure you make up for this in practice. I'm... unimpressed with your progress...." Nasuki crossed her arms, grumbling to herself. If you'd stick around and train me more than going on all these crazy missions, I might learn something.... She thought.

"Alright, time to go. I'll see you all at the training grounds in two days. Nasuki, be sure to have your doppleganger ready. It always helps me teach you when you have an extra set of ears to ensure at least one of you is listening." Masume's form blurred, and was gone. "Well, looks like he's finally going to pay some attention to me. Spends so much time away I'm suprised he has the time for a squad. Oh well, see you later, Akahana." She said, hopping off the roof. She felt something rustle around in her pocket as she jumped. She pulled a sheet of paper from her pocket. It was a map, plain and simple. One that led what looked like a fair distance outside the limits of town to a remote area. "Same old sensei. Slippery like no other...." She said as she walked off towards her temporary room.

Every word Masume said sunk straight into Akahana's head like she was a thirsty sponge being hit with rain. She was however, too stunned that he'd touched her forehead -I'll never take this headband off.- and spoke directly to her in the manner he did. She did manage to look up after he'd taken the scroll back, and she nodded as he spoke of strength and knowledge. She took everything as if it was heaven-sent, and his word was a message from the lord himself. She just continually nodded and went along with what he said. When he disappeared, her jaw fell ajar just a tad, leaving her looking even more foolish. Her cheeks red with blush and her mouth open the slightest bit in awe, she finally managed to shake herself back to reality when Nasuki spoke.

"Uh-huh... See ya later..." She said, turning to hop down from the roof, not noticing the small amount of extra weight in the breast-pocket of her dress. It wasn't until she was halfway to her home, when she realized that something was rustling around in there. She took out the piece of paper, looked it over,, and realized what it was. A map. But not any map, and certainly not a map she had put there. It was a map to the training grounds. Oh Kokun! You're so dreamy... I'll never wash this dress again! She thought to herself, a smile bursting across her face as she sprinted home, thinking about her new crush the whole way.

    Role play end.
