Personality: Akahana is usually cold and serious on a mission, but open and fun when around people she likes. She can be a bit bi-polar-ish at times, depending on what you do or say to her. She is determined, and strong willed, even though sometimes she can seem a bit careless for what happens. She isn't one to show deep emotions to people around her, if she has a tear to shed, she'll do it alone.

Fighting Style: A few offensive martial arts specializing in fast punches and kicks. High speed and very fluid movements are part of their attack methods.

History:
Pre-Academy: Akahana was raised by both her parents, very well trained shinobi. Her mother (Suichi) was the one who possessed the Blood will Kekkei Genkai. Her father (Takura) was a fisherman from the village hidden in the leaves had no ninja skill, but it didn’t stop him from marrying and being with Akahana’s mother.
Akahana had a fairly normal upbringing as a child. It was discovered 3 years after Akahana’s birth that she had the Blood Will trait, and from that day forwards, her family worked on honing that skill. Little by little, though the following years, her skill level had increased to a fairly useful technique, and at the age of 8, she was enrolled into the academy to train.
Academy: Akahana was in the academy for 3 years, and graduated 3rd from the top of her class. 3rd didn’t disappoint her, as she wasn’t trying to be t the top of her class. She didn’t want to stand out and be the center of attention. She wanted her skill to be known only when it was needed.
She had mastered the basics through much training and time, and she was fairly pleased with how she excelled through the academy. When she finally became a genin, she was glad to be placed on a squad.
Genin: As a genin, Akahana did around 7 missions to her current age. Never having dine anything extremely difficult on record, her mission experience is rather run of the mill. An escort mission here and there, and a few small rescue missions involving cats and dogs, and one time, a boy that had been lost for a day.
The mother of the boy got worried when her son didn’t return home in the evening, and requested a squad of shinobi to try and locate her son. Akahana and her teammates searched and searched, and after 5 hours or so, they found the boy. He had fallen down a hill, and got washed into a river. The boy had managed to pull himself from the water, and retreat into a small cave in the side of the river bank. Akahana used her blood will to create a wall of blood in the river near the front of the small cave. It caused the water to divert and create a safe area so the boy could be extracted safely.
With the success of the mission, Akahana had decided to better her skills with her family, and continue training, more so in the arts of offense, because her defensive skills were already fairly developed.

Blood Will: The Mayu clan has been using this technique ever since they found out they could. There bodies can make blood at a higher rate than other humans. And this is only one effect. They can cause their blood to rush from their body, from any point. It can cover their skin, or leave their skin. They have complete control of their blood within 50 feet of their body. After the blood has left the body, it can be made to become hard, extremely hard. The clan uses it as an almost impenetrable second skin sometimes. It can be used as a defensive or offensive technique. The blood can respond so quickly, it can be triggered to come forwards to block an attack, or strike with some weapon like offense. The blood can be lunched from the body and shoot out like a weapon. After it leaves the 50 foot range, it stays in whatever form it was when it left the reach. Their bodies reproduce blood at such a high rate (when needed) they lose no blood from the technique. The reason the blood has the ability to coat their skin is, the Mayu clan have an extra organ (much like a blood producing/holding bladder.) that produces chakra enriched blood whenever they need it. It is so heavily doused in chakra, that many attacks can’t break though it. It becomes as hard as steel when the need arises. And even pure chakra attacks have to be extremely strong to break though. And since the blood that they use, never leaves their body, they lose no chakra from it, and they can recall it back into their body as long as it hasn’t left their skin. The way the control blood normally, is just though the pores of the skin, forcing it though the actual skin, then letting it return back into the vessels at a reasonable rate. They can also cause wounds to clot faster and prevent severe blood loss. Another unique thing is, the blood that they use to battle with has a slight blue hue to it, sort of a snowy/icy cool blue. It's due to the large concentration of chakra in the blood.
Clan specific:
BLOOD BODY SHIELD : Aka can use her blood to come from any part of her body, and cover her skin in a layer of it. This is used as a defensive technique. The blood never stops moving around her body it can become hard in an instant, or continue to use the chakra to flow around her body, dispelling most chakra attacks, because they get sucked into the strong pull of the chakra flow, and the are disrupted. This effect can be used to cover the entire body (excluding the eyes, nostrils, and ears. She keeps those open for her senses.) or just a section under attack. She can only call forth the blood on attacks she is aware of, or just making a lucky guess, or finds out in another way.
Blood body shield techniques:
Blood cocoon: Allows Aka to become encased in a cocoon of protective blood, being held together by the chakra flow from her feet. This technique allows for Aka to take a brief time out so to say, to get herself together and or heal herself. She can only use this technique for as long as she can hold her breath. Which is, on average, around 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Spike out: She can cause spikes to burst out from her body and strike at her opponent. This is a close range defensive/offensive attack. Only usable from the blood cocoon state.
Spike out launch: It is the same as the first spike out technique, only it allows her to launch the spikes (smaller) from her body as steel hard needle like spikes. Has the same basic effect as senbalm. Only useable from the blood cocoon state.
BLOOD POOL: Aka allows some of her blood to pour out though her feet, making a pool of blood around her. She then can use other techniques that are based off of this starting technique. Aka can feel the movements across the blood, because they disrupt her chakra flowing though it. She doesn’t have to see to know where to strike when something or someone steps on the blood. It has a rage of 15 feet.
Blood pool techniques:
Ankle bite: When Aka’s opponent steps into her pool of blood, she causes it to grab onto their feet, holding their ankles tight. She has the ability to drive small needle like spikes of blood through their feet, or just holding them tight as she attacks them.
Blood raising: Aka causes large spikes to shoot up out of the blood pool. Impaling her opponent on razor sharp spikes. The size depends on the purpose.
Blood barrier: Aka can cause the blood to shoot upwards and form a barrier of sorts. Used as a defensive technique.
Blood Vines: Aka causes small blood "trees" (around 2 feet tall) to raise up out of the ground, on either side of her from the blood pool, and controls the movements of the trees limbs and vines within the range of the blood pool. It's branches can be uses to hit the enemy, and it's vines can be lashed out like whips to attack, or defend, as well as entangle the enemy and restrain them. Must stay in the center of the blood pool, and feed a constant flow of chakra to the trees in order to keep the attack working. Her feet must also remain on the ground, and she must maintain a constant handsign.
Akahana can only use Blood Body Shield, OR Blood Pool at a time. Not both at once. She has not mastered that skill yet.
BLOOD WEAPON CREATION: Mayu clan members have the ability to form various weapons for combat, using only there blood. They are as good as real weapons, and sometimes better in the fact that they have the ability to sever chakra lines and other things formed of chakra. This part of the ability is not often used by younger members of the clan. Younger members of the clan have also not yet mastered many different weapons.
